GOOD TEMPLARY
There was a good attendance of members at the meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, held on Tuesday in the Oddfellows’ Hall, King Edward street, when Sister Mrs Donaldson, chief templar, presided. Several members from Hope of Caversham Lodge, No. 128, were accorded a welcome, Sister Mrs Page responding. Sister P. Bundo, superintendent of juvenile work, submitted an encouraging report, and the final report of the Queen Carnival Committee showed a substantial addition to the lodge funds. Arrangements were completed for the Juvenile Temple social and also for the lodge social to be held shortly. Several members appeared as “ hard-ups,” and the first prises went to Sister Mrs,
Steedman and Bro. F. .Leathley, while the paper dressing competition was won by Sister Donaldson and Bro. F. Leathley. ■ • • , Star of the South Juvenile lemple met the same evening, Superintendent Sister P. Bundo being in charge, with Sister Elva Yates, chief templar, presiding. Five candidates were initiated.
