NEW CONTROLLING BODY! [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, August 24. The Advisory Committee which formerly functioned-in connection with the cinematograph film industry, is now being replaced by a statutory _ Film Board of internal control, which ha* just been constituted. Its principal duty will be to arbitrate and adjust differences existing in the industry, thus facilitating . its smooth working* It is also expected that it will undertake the advisory' duties of,.the_f6rme£ committee if called upon by the Government for its opinions. ~ , The new hoard comprises Mr W. _e» Stilwell, S.M. (chairman), Mr H. M* Stewart, Mr S. H. Craig, Mr W. W* Duff, and-Mr W, ( A. Hislop, representing the film renters; Mr J. Robertson, Mr M. P. H. Thompson, Mr J. H. Mason, and Mr M. J• Moodabe. repre* senting the motion picture exhibitors,Mr R. G. Butcher, representing th* Internal: Affairs Department, and another member to he appointed from the Industries and Commerce DepartThe secretary is Mr W. J. Fife, of the Internal Affairs Department.
