COMMERCIAL CONFERENCE MOOTED REPRESENTATIONS TO MR NASH [Pee United Peess Association.] ' , AUCKLAND,' August 24. A national conference representative of all commercial and financial interests is being urged by the Bureau of Importers (Auckland) to make representations to Mr Nash immediately after liis return to New Zealand next month regarding the serious position which has developed as the result of Government control of the Dominion’s sterling exchange funds. \ The bureau has taken the initiative as the difficulties to Vhich trade has been subjected are now so embarrassing that the position must be clarified at the earliest possible moment. “We suggest that the conference be held at Wellington,” said) Mr A. Boucher, president of the bureau.
