(Received August 3, at 8 a.m.) ' A three-engined Air Force machin* claims a world record for a long distance closed circuit of 8,036 miles in 57 hours 1} seconds at an average speed of 1401 miles an hour. Th* circuit had triangular sides of 621 miles. The Japanese held the previoua record of 7,240 miles.
