BOERS RETURN HOME
* The last big group of Argentine Boers has arrived in Cape Town from the Argentine, and, with their arrival, the task of bringing back those who wished to come has ended.
The repatriation of Boers, who settled mainly in the Chubut area of the Argentine after the South African War, began under the auspices of the Dutch Reformed Church two years ago. In that time 10 parties—totalling more than 300 persons—have returned to the Union, and have been settled on the land.
