UNDERGROUND CABLE
AUSTRALIA ACCEPTS GERMAN TENDERS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, July 21. (Received July 21, at 10.35 a.m.) Two tenders submitted by a German firm for the supply of an underground cable have been accepted by the Post-master-General’s Department. The tenders aggregate £16,127, to which exchange must be added.
