CHANGEABLE IN WEST AND SOUTH Tho following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological' Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts—Dunedin. Port Chalmers, Tapanui, Winton, . Forecast: Moderate winds, westerly in the south,-but tending north-easterly north of. Dunedin ; changeable in the west-and south., with occasional showers; otherwise fair. Moderate temperatures. Seas slight north of Nugget Point; otherwise moderate to rather rough at times. IDEAL AFTER RAIN. Bright sunshine appeared early, bringing temperatures up to a high level* while the sky was only lightly clouded.
