BEACH CARNIVAL
GALA WEEK AT ST. KILDA In spite of the wet 'weather last night there was another largo attendance at the Carnival at Kettle Park, St Kilda, which is being conducted by tho St Kilda Beach improvement Society, in conjunction with the Otago Swimming Centro, and the entertainment last night was enhanced by the appearance of the W avorley Boys’ Band. The various competitions and games of skill in the Amusement Park did brisk business, and the “dodgem” cars and merry-go-round invariably received a largo share of support. The carnival will be continued for the remainder of the present week.
