SCHOOL YEAR ENDS

ST. KEVIN’S COLLEGE r ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY The annual speech night and prizegiving ceremony at St. Kevin’s College, Redcastle, was held in the college hall. The Very Rev, Father O’Reilly, P.P., presided and distributed the prizes. With him were Rev. Father Marlow and Rev. Father Walls. The orchestra opened with a fantasia, and this was followed by. Mr Le Gall in ‘ Times to Come.’ T. O’Brien gave a finished rendering of his piano solo, S. Gilharby gave ‘ The Game of Life,’ and C. Hally’s violin solo was very acceptable. Later in the evening the orchestra gave some pleasing numbers. In the course of his remarks the rector thanked friends of the college for their attendance and for their interest in the institution. He also thanked those who had so generously remembered the college when the prize list was being arranged. They were grateful for the continued interest of the bishop in the welfare of the college-
