(Received December 2, at 8 a.m.) “ I did not intend to kill Dr von Rath. 1 am sorry he is dead,” Grynszpan told the examining magistrate, “ but he called me Jewish filth. I fired blindly. It was the first time I had ever used a revolver.” Accused said he had been particularly upset by articles in Herr Streicher’s newspaper.
