At the New South Wales championships to-day all the Davis Cup players entered the quarter-finals in the men’s Qnist, Bromwich, and Hoptnan beating their opponents in three straight sets, while Crawford defeated Schwartz 6-1, 3-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. The New Zealander, Miss Armstrong, did not play to-day.
