INJURIES TO BOY [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. November 29. After a retirement of a little over an hour, a jury in the Supreme Court at Wellington to-day returned a verdict for the plaintiff in the action in which damages amounting to £2,545 ware claimed on behalf of a boy aged eight years for injuries received when he was knocked down by a motor cycle in Newtown nearly two years ago. The jury awarded £45 special damages and £1.850 general damages. The plaintiff was Gordon Albert Steel, who sued through his father, Albert Edward Steel, and the defendant Desmond Claire Williams, an upholsterer. The Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) presided over the case, which lasted two days.
