The .steel cargo steamer Sinaloa, 4,639 tons gross, which was formerly known as the William F. Rnpprich. has been converted to a suction dredger by her now owners, the Zeathern D. Smith S.S. Company Ltd., and is registered at Detroit. The Sinaloa will probably be one of the biggest suction dredgers in commission. A NEW MALABAR. A new steamer, the Malabar, lias been launched at Port Glasgow for T. and J. Broklcbank Ltd., of Liverpool, owners of several well-known steamers in the Australian trade. The Malabar is a vessel of 7,976 tons gross, and is fitted with refrigerating machinery. The last vessel known as the Malabar was a motor vessel which was owned by Burns, Philp, and Co. Ltd., and was unfortunately wrecked on the New South Wales coast to become a total loss. PORT AUCKLAND ADVISES. The Port Auckland, en route from Now York to New Zealand, has advised that she expects to arrive at Auckland next Monday. MAUNGANUI DELAYED BY RAIN.
