LADIES’ BOWLING
SINGLES TOURNAMENT POST-SECTION PLAY Post-section play in the annual singles tournament conducted by the Otago Ladies’ Rowling Association was commenced at Logan Park this morning. Conditions at the commencement of play were excellent, but rain set in about midday and prevented further play this afternoon. Results of this morning’s play were;— \ —First Round.— Mrs Austin (St. Clair) beat Mrs Thompson (0.L.8.A.) by default. Mrs Whale (Mornington) 19, Mrs M’Hugb (Dunedin) 13. Mrs Williams (Dunedin) 18, Mrs Ibbotson (Caversham) 17. - Mrs Collier (West Harbour) 23, Mrs Stubbs (Caversham) 15. Mrs Munro (Green Island) 20, Mrs M'Connell (Kaikorai) 16. Mrs Gregory (Dunedin), 22, Mrs Knowles (Leith) 8. Mrs French (0.L.8.A.) IS, Mrs Poland (Green Island) 16. —Second Round.— Mrs Austin 20, Mrs Whale 16. Mrs Collier 18, Mrs Williams 16. Mrs Gregory 29, Mrs Munro 3. Mrs French 23, Mrs Hayward 11. FINALS OF SINGLES TOURNAMENT. . The finals in the annual singles tournament will be played at Logan Park on Monday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. The players will be Mrs Collier (West Harbour) v. Mrs Austin (St. Clair;, Mrs French (0.L.8.A.) v. Mrs Gregory (Dunedin).
