SYDNEY STAR AND MACUMBA LATTER’S CAPTAIN BLAMEWORTHY Press Association—Bv Telegraph—Coprnel' SYDNEY, October 27. After a protracted sitting,. the Commonwealth Court of Marine inquiry into the harbour collision between the steamers Sydney Star and Macumba, formally returned a verdict that the Alacumba’s captain, Harold Sanders, was blameworthy in carelessly navigating his ship, amounting to misconduct under the Navigation Act. The Navigation Department will now decide whether any further action shall be taken against the Macumba’s captain.
