ARTISANS FOR NEW ZEALAND Preai Asstciation—By Telegraph—Copyngnt SYDNEY, October 27. (Received October 27, at 11 a.m.) Mr Andrew Fletcher, a director of the Fletcher Construction Company of New Zealand, before sailing in the Awatea, stated that he had engaged 100 Australian carpenters, bricklayers, and plasterers for, work on New Zealand building schemes, as he could foresee a shortage of skilled labour in New Zealand. All the men engaged were single.
