GALE AT AUCKLAND [Pee United Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, July 4A shop window in the alcove at th« foot of Queen street was blown to by the pressure of wind and hail at about 2 o’clock this morning. A policeman heard the crash and awaited the owner’* arrival. Though the westerly wind sometime* reached gale force during the weekend, no further damage is reported. There we 'e grle conditions yesterday on Manukau bar. The cargo steamer Trehata, due at Auckland from New York yesterday, is delayed, and will be unable to reach Wailemata before this afternoon.
