A letter from the Roslyn-Wakari Club objecting to the putting off of club games next Saturday was read and received. Respecting the lay-out of the grounds on Tonga Park, which was raised by a recent deputation from the association and the Otqgo Rugby Football Union, the town clerk advised that instructionshad now been given to alter the positions of the various grounds, the association ground to run parallel with the back fences and the Rugby ground to bo. shifted further away from the Chinamen’s garden end of the ground. —The letter was received. Mr D. Bennie advised that as the referee appointed for the second grade game between Maori Hill and Technical at Prospect Park had failed to appear he had officiated at the request of both captains, the game resulting in a draw. —lt was decided that the result be accepted.
