TELEGRAPHIC MATCH The-first session of play in the telegraphic match between the Otago and Canterbury Chess Clubs toolk place on Saturday evening. In an endeavour to speed up play, clocks were used on some of the higher boards, with favourable results. So far, only two games have been finished, Canterbury scoring a win at board 6, where E.
