SWAB IN PATIENT
OPERATING TABLE IN COURT SURGEON'S DEMONSTRATION [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 3.. Grouped round an operating table in the foyer of the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Callan, the jury, and counsel watched a demonstration by a surgeon called as a witness in the case of Mary Margaret Barry versus the Hospital Board, which commenced yesterday. The surgeon, Dr J. W. Bridgmen, gave further evidence concerning the operation in a private hospital, when a swab was removed from plaintiff. He said the swab was about 2Jin by IJin, made of gauze. The inside of the cyst corresponded to the shadow on the X-ray plate produced in court.
