TWO ASHBURTON GASES CHARGES OF INTOXICATION INVOLVED [Per United Press Association.] ASHBURTON, May 13. James Simpson, a lorry driver, on sustenance, was sentenced to six weeks hard labour and had his license cancelled for two years on charges of having driven a motor car negligently and of driving when intoxicated. Simpson ran into a cyclist. Take Reihana was fined £l3 10s for being intoxicated while in charge of a car, and was prohibited from obtaining a license for three years.
