NOCTURNAL PROWLERS

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I would! like to warn residents of Tainui and Anderson’s Bay that there is at present a prowler in the neighbourhood. Hearing a sound in the early hours of this morning, I found on investigation a man roaming around the house, for no honest purpose evidently, as on going outside he took to his heels in haste, and was last seen disappearing down into Tainui. Trusting householders will heed this warning— l am, etc., Wakefcl. May 10.
