(Received May 9, at !■ p.m.) The DaVis Cup tie broke up in confusion after Punccc (Yugoslavia) defeated Meiyzel (Czechoslovakia) 3-6, 0-1, 0-1, 6-2 Mi tic (Yugoslavia) was leading Ccjnar (Czechoslovakia) 3-6, 7-5. 4-6, 6-2, 2-1 when the Czech walked off the court under the general agreement to cease play at 7 p.m., which Yugoslavia does not recognise; thereupon Yugoslavia was declared the winner.
