OTAGO CLUB The monthly 15-np handicap tournament of the Otago Squash Racquets Club took place on Wednesday evening. Though a smaller number of competitors than usual entered, there were sufficient to'.provide an interesting tournament, and several hard-fought games were played in the earlier rounds. The winner, E. C. S. Falconer, defeated F. Toomey, the winner of the two previous tournaments, in the second round, Toomey having previously accounted for T. Fraser in an exceptionally fast game in the first round. Results —First Round.— Macmillan (scr) beat Mirams (rec. 15-11. Stewart (rec. 8) beat Stevenson (r6c. 5).‘ 15-8. Begg tree. 10) beat C. Wilson (rec. 111. 15-11. Barnett lost to J. Fitzgerald by default. Cameron (rec. 5) beat Graham (rec. 111,15-13. Harris (rec. 6) lost to Botting (rec. 4). 10-15. Fraser (rec. 1) lost to Toomey (scr), 14-15. —Second Round. Macmillan beat Stewart, 16-13. Fitzgerald (rec. 7) beat Regg, 16-14. Betting beat Cameron, 15-10. Falconer beat Toomey, 15-12. —Semi-final.— Macmillan beat Fitzgerald, 15-11. Falconer beat Botting, 16-13. —Final.— Falconer beat Macmillan, 15-9.
