Some boys may not want to use the battery operated type of electro magnet. In that case, you can do away with the battery and the flex, and use a simple horseshoe magnet tied to a string cable. The disadvantage is that the objects carried on this type of magnet have to be pulled off when the load Is to be deposited. Another alternative Is to do away with the magnets altogether, and to use a hook on the end of a string cable to lift any kind of articles. A strip of thick cardboard glued to the back of the picture holds the pins in place. Two pins should be used for most pictures, but if the picture is large it is better to have three or more pins.
