INCREASED REVENUE REPORTED The tramway manager’s statement of the traffic revenue for the last fortnightly period shows an increase' in revenue of £628 over the same period last year. The present period is the first where a fair comparison can- be made with the city revenue of last year owing to the fares being the same in both cases. Better weather has been experienced this year, but the actual increase in the city services, after taking out the Saturday and Sunday takings, which are largely affected by the weather, only amounted to £ll. .The position from April 1 ■to February 'l2 (45 weeks), as compared with the same period for the previous year, shows a total increase of £23,555, or 16.40 per cent
