V' LOCAL CLUB NOTES Dunedin Notes. Len Williams is making good progress. Harris White and Eric Hooper show promise of making good breast stroke swimmers. Congratulations to R. Lockhart and J. Miller on getting their 220yds certificates. Miss C. Clarke is a regular attender at the club hours and is training hard. She should do well next season. Eric Williams is showing improvement. L. Ingram is doing well. He should practise more with the paddle board.

J. Glen is making good progress as a breast stroke swimmer. The club is pleased to see Miss Alice Hill back in the water , after her rest. Roy M‘Taggart is a keen little member; also Greame Jenkins. Both are beginning to have more confidence in the water. The club' extends its congratulations to Jimmie Byrnes on his winning the harbour race, also the cup for fastest time. Jim also holds the Batt Cup. Club badges can now be procured from the secretary. Kaikorai. With the competitive swimming season drawing to a close, the club has formed a life-saving class, in which in-
