WILKIE ROAD.

TO TUB editor. Sir, —Kindly allow me space in yon* paper to enter a protest about the disgraceful state of Wilkie road. The time is long .past when this road should have been put in order and the footpaths repaired; in fact, new paths will have to be put down, as very little remains of the old one in a good many places. The winter is fast approaching and the pedestrian and motorist alike will be subjected to the same sea oi mud and gravel as has been the case for years past, while the money thal has beep allocated for this work is beintr spent in tar-scaling roads in the back part of the town where the trafta is nothing in comparison to what it is through this road. The approach from King Edward road is positively dis. graceful and dangerous to both pedestrian and motorist, and still we wonder how long this state of affairs is going to last.—l arn, etc., , Get ik'sv. February 25.
