CROMWELL AERODROME.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —My attention has been drawn to a local in your issue of Friday last in reference to the Cromwell aerodrome. You refer to the apathy of the authorities in Cromwell towards aviation. Although this is certainly correct, it might he thought that this apathy is on the part of the Cromwell Aero Club, or the body controlling the racecourse on wlucn the aerodrome is situated. This is not the case, as I understand that these two bodies are most anxious that Cromwell should be kept well on the map in aviation matters. —T am, etc., M. H. Shepherd. President Otago Aero Club, i February ‘23.
