ANNUAL PICNIC

SARGOOD’S STAFF At the second annual picnic, of the combined clothing and footwear fao tories of Sargood, Son, and Ewen Ltd.a pleasant time was spent by all on the -picnic grounds at Company Bay on Saturday last. The whole of the morning wbs spent in. the running off of various sports events. All were present to welcome Sir Percy and Lady Sargood and Mr £c. Z. Lindley. Later in the afternoon Mr A. -Gill thanked Sir Percy and Lady Sargood for their presence at the picnic and for, their kindly interest in their employ ees. He also thanked all visitors anti supporters for their presence and) called upon Lady Sargood to distribute the prizes. „ , Sir Percy thanked one and all for the warm welcome, and said he was pleased to see that his employees'could' enjoy themselves at sport, as well as pull together at "work., Mr Lindley thanked Sir Percy and Lady Sargood for attending.
