PAINTED FURNITURE POPULAR

Smart Parisian women who can afford to change their furniture as often as most women change their hats are going in for painted wood this season. Bright colours are the most popular, and one colour scheme consisted of a room furnished entirely in rose pink painted wood, with enormous cushions made of ordinary sacking on the couch and armchairs.
