HOUSING SURVEY

PROGRESS IN DUNEDIN The General Committee of the City Council states that the report of the chief sanitary inspector relative to the progress of the housing survey discloses that 20 street blocks, containing 1,204 houses, have been completed in the South Dunedin area. In view_ of the fact that the work of preparing the necessary statements ana maps is falling behind, it is proposed to place two of the outside men on this work and replace them with two additional men on the outside survey. Arrangements are being made with the Employment Department for the services of the two men required.
