HEALTH STAMPS

THE LAST OPPORTUNITY The ninth annual health stamp campaign for the benefit of the children will end on February 15, after which day the twopenny health stamp—ld for postage, Id for health—will be withdrawn from sale. This Post Office effort for the health camps, so splendidly reinforced by voluntary workers, has been responsible in the last three campaigns for providing over £30,000 for the organisations conducting camps throughout the Dominion. The current campaign has already reached the satisfactory position of stamp sales approximating 1,000,000 in number. The health stamp is thus established as the principal financial resource of this valuable movement, and the needs of the current season will be all the greater because good summer weather has extended the opportunities for healthful holidays in the camps. Much will depend on the final results of the health stamp appeal whether these camps can be prolonged while good weather lasts, finance being the only limitation imposed on the good work.
