PHCNIX BEATS AWAMOA The first match of the season between the Awamoa and Phoenix (Oamarn) Ladies’ Bowling Clubs was played in perfect weather, and resulted in a win for the latter team by 80 points to 55. The match was played on the Phoenix green, and the president (Mrs Speid) extended a welcome to the visitors, Mrs Wright responding on behalf of the Awamoa Club.
