Scenes eloquent of the aifectiou in which he was held marked the funeral of Canon Sheppard to-day. Crowds gathered outside St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields, where the body lay in state yesterday, and at St. Paul’s, where a distinguished congregation included a representative of the King, and along the route.
