SKULL FRACTURED. •'
A fractured skull and head injuries were suffered by John Carnaham, a boy who resides at 667 Cumberland street,' yesterday, when he was knocked from his bicycle by a motor car in the Octagon. He was admitted to the Hospital at 7 o’clock. FOUND SHOT. A married man, Raymond Hird, recently engaged as a woolclasser atj Tangihau Station, Rere (Gisborne),' was found shot this morning, with a shotgun alongside the body. He arrived in Gisborne .two days ago, having previously resided at Hastings.—* Press Association.
