After iniidi at their hotel the Springboks divided up into parties and wore taken shooting, golfing, or on a visit to the sawmill at Aliki Aliki. The transport was provided by members of t)it> Young Farmers’ Club. The visitors appeared to enjoy the relaxation provided by the outings, and the members of the shooting party, which included D. Craven (vice-captain), came homo with tangible results of their afternoon’s sport. This evening some of the players wore entertained at the theatre, while others enjoyed billiards at the Soldiers' Club. “ While the players greatly appreciate the liospi I alit'y of the Alasterton people and would like to meet everyone, it must he remembered that they want to train,” said Air J.
