Apparently in order to prevent a demonstration, the police cancelled -Pastor Martin Niemoller’s sendee at Dnhlem Church. WHOLESALE ARRESTS BERLIN, August 8. (Received August 9, at 2 p.m.) The Niemoller service was held outside the church, the crowds defying police orders to disperse until wholesale arrests were effected, including several pastors.
