SAVINGS FOR RAIL TRIPS
5 PER GENT. INTEREST As a further inducement to the public to save up for railway trips, the general manager (Mr G. H. Maekley)j announces a decision to grant interest! at 5 per cent, on vouchers to the value of 10s or multiples of 10s. These vouchers may be obtained in exchange for the -travel stamps issued at railway stations or may be bought for cash. Interest accrues from the date of issue of a voucher, but does not continue after the expiration of 12 months if the voucher is not used for the purchase of a railway ticket within that period,.
