TILBURY SOCIAL CLUB
On Saturday evening the second social of the recently-formed Tilbury Social Club took the form of a carnival party, when some 24 spent a very enjoyable evening dancing, playing cards and games. Some humorous and novelty items were introduced, and two interesting competitions were won by Mrs J. Phillips and Mr C. George. A dainty supper was served by the committee, after which Mr J. Phillips and Mr J. R. Tilbury congratulated the organisers on staging such a successful function, and wished the club every success for the future. Mr J. W. Johnson made an efficient M.C,
