ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
FATAL FALL FROM LORRY. Falling from a lorry on ■which he was, travelling to Omaio' as a member of the Tikitiki football team, a Maori, Pakura Taukoko (25). married,, with one child, was fatally injured yesterday after* noon. While the lorry was proceeding down Potaka Hill, Taukoko was affected by sickness and leaned over the side pf the vehicle. A sudden lurch caused him to fall, and he was crushed between the lorry and a banfc, receiving injuries from ■ which he succumbed in a few minutes.—Gisborne Association telegram. CAR OVER BANK.
