HISH SALARY APPOINTMENT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, August 7. (Received August 7, at 11.25 a.m.) The State Cabinet appointed Mr C. N. Neale Commissioner for Road Transport and Tramways in succession to Mr Maddocfks, at a salary of £2,500 a year. Mr Neale joined the tramway service in 1896 as office boy, at a salary of 10s a week.
