(in liquidation), in default one month’s imprisonment, ORDER FOR POSSESSION. Maid a B. Frew proceeded against C XL Robinson, a waterside worker, ort a. claim for possession of- a hditse owned by the plaintiff and occupied by the defendant. Tho plaintiff was represented by Mr C. J. L. White and Mr G. F. Grieve represented the Labour Department. After evidence had been submitted by both parties, each of whom pleadd hardship, His Worship said that in all tenancy cases the question of hardship was raised. In the case before the court the plaintiff wanted possession of her house' for her own occupation because sho had given up a boarding house on account of her health. The case was not complicated by the defendant having a young family, the defendant having two sons quite able to battle for themselves. The plaintiff was in the same position as the defendant so far as securing another house was concerned. It would be a definite case of hardship for her if she were not able to get possession of her own home for occupation. An order for possession by August 19 was made by the court, and costs amounting to £2 2s were granted the plaintiff.
