FAVOURABLE TRADE BALANCE WITH AMERICA Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, August 4. (Received August 4, at 11 a.m.) For the first time since Federation, Australia has achieved a favourable trade balance with America. The exports in the last financial year exceeded the imports by £1,047,000. This figure takes into account the export of bullion and specie valued at £5,630,000.
