, STEIN BEATS SPELLMAN [Pea United Peess Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 29. In a match at Ashburton to-mght Stein defeated Spellman. In the fifth round Stein injured his hack when no was dumped, and was unable to rise, Spellman being awarded a fall. In the eighth round Stein made use of the rones, which gave way. Stem brought off a flip and a flying tackle to spin Spellman and get the decision on points. The bout ended with the ropes trailing about the ring. RUMBERG AND KIRILENKO DRAW [Pee United Peess Association.] WANGANUI, June 29. A bout between Hal Rumberg and Matros Kirilenko, staged at Marten tonight, resulted in a draw after a brisk contest in which the wrestlers were well matched. The bout went the full eight round. Kirilenko secured a fall in the sixth round, and Rumberg equalised in the final round.
