Bonnet, a former Ambassador at Washington, who has been appointed Minister of Finance in the new French Cabinet, arrived at Cherbourg in the Queen Mary, and immediately rushed to Paris by special train. On the train M. Bonnet discussed with financial experts last-minute adjustments in the financial programme which ho had been drawing up in the course of radiophone talks with M. Chautemps throughout the voyage. M. Chautemps will outline tho plan to Cabinet, and will meet the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday.
