NATIONAL SPORTS COUNCIL

VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS THE MINKTEfi'S AfPREWATIOH [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. June 29.*, Discussing his proposals for the establishment of a National Sports Council, the Hon. W. E. Parry said he had received from southern sports bodies yesterday morning some valuable reports and well-thought-out suggestions, which he felt would aid a great deal in bringing into practical effect the proposed scheme. He was greatly pleased with the amount of consideration northern and southern sports bodies had bestowed on the formation of the organisation. The recommendations and suggestions received, and those to he received at the end of the present month, would be collated, and then arrangements would be made for a second conference in Wellington.
