A WOMAN’S DEATH
CHARGE OF NEGLIGENT DRIVING (Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 28. , A taxi driver. Noble David Morton, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-day with negligent driving so as to cause the death of Annie Maria Ramble. . . ~ A cyclist gave evidence of seeing the taxi strike Mrs Ramble while she vvas crossing Hagley Avenue. The visibility was very bad at the time. In witness’s opinion the taxi was travelling at 25 miles an hour. The case is proceeding.
