Tho Riga correspondent of . ‘ The Times ’ says that the merciless purge in Soviet industry continues, and the arrests and dismissals during tho past week number thousands. Hardly a branch of industry has escaped. A largo number of directors, managers, and high officials, who have been arrested, will be tried for incompetency and criminal negligence.
