TOHWWOW ANOTHER BIG DAY To-morrow will be another day big in sporting interest, with such important events for decision as the first Rugby test, Springboks v. Australia, at Sydney, and the final Soccer test, England v. New Zealand, at Wellington.' Locally, we have the Edmond Cup harrier steeplechase and the Rugby encounter between Southern and Pirates as the highlights, and an abundance of other sporting engagements for record. The race meetings of the day—Ashburton County, Dannevirke Hunt, and Waipa—will be covered, and all available Rugby, Soccer, hockey, and basketball here and elsewhere in the Dominion. Among interesting “specials” will be Syd. Nichoil’s analysis of the > Springboks’ prospects from witnessing the match against Victoria; “ Nestor’s ” second cricket article, which deals with hard hitting as a match-winning factor; the second of the ‘ Famous Sports Club ' series, dealing with the beginnings of the M.C.C.; and “ Billy ” Stead’s final article in his memoirs series. The ‘ Sports Special,’ with a very generous array of pictures, will be sold on the streets tomorrow night from 7 o’clock.
